TECHNOLOGY ENABLES US TO BUILD AN ECOSYSTEM OF HEALTHCARE AND EMPOWER REMOTE COMMUNITIES WITH IMPROVED HEALTH OUTCOMES

The world is gradually moving towards a decentralised healthcare system with increased needs of patient care in remote communities across a diverse range of regions and terrains, in Australia and beyond.

ASTA SWISSTEC HEALTH is proudly supportive of this movement through the provision of advanced IT capabilities to empower communities with improved health outcomes – linking diagnostic equipment in mobile health modules, telehealth providers, hospitals and patients across Asia-Pacific to doctors and leading specialists globally.

DEPLOYABLE HEALTH MODULES (DHM) PROGRAM

We believe that Technology has the power to change the future of Healthcare. The DHM is the first ever fully modular remote health unit which will provide radiological care, telehealth and patient monitoring to be manufactured out of the Northern Territory in Australia, as a future Health Hub that attracts jobs and serve the increasing need of our decentralising population, and support early detection of diseases that may lead to more cures or longer survival. Combined with advanced manufacturing technology and micro-credentialed competency based training program, ASTA Swisstec Health will be supporting Swisstec Analytics in delivering this exciting initiative by converging the technology required to bring this ecosystem of healthcare to life.

BRINGING DIGITISATION TO REMOTE HEALTHCARE WITH I.T.

With an aging global population, and over 1 billion people joining the middle class across Asia over the next 10 years, the demand for medical services has been steadily exceeding the supply of doctors, radiologists and subspecialists.
ASTA Swisstec Health provides a holistic, cost efficient, digital healthcare platform aimed at ensuring accessible, transparent healthcare technology and services solutions targeting low-resource providers of primary and secondary care hospitals.
These facilities lack financial resources to provide adequate technology systems to satisfy their communities. Installations of our three technologies, Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS) together with Remote Healthcare Monitoring and Collaboration Platforms bridge the gap of patients, physicians and healthcare providers; offering services such as Radiology Imaging Reporting from local and international specialists and subspecialists, Doctor Teleconsultations, Remote and Hospital outpatients, and real-time home vitals monitoring.

”Our initiative to create this Hi-Tech Health Hub will service under-resourced communities in Australia and countries throughout SE Asia. The facility will train local healthcare professionals in the use of medical equipment, systems and online ASTA Swisstec Health services with the aim of achieving efficiencies and ultimately better health outcomes. We also anticipate that mentorship of this nature will create a local knowledge base for self reliance – doctors, radiologists including radiographers can be inspired and extended in their pursuit to improve healthcare for their communities.“
